This is an attractive little endeavour; a kitchen/restaurant nestled in a railway arch, owned by the principled Gergovie Wines. But we must tell you upfront, this place is really all about the meat. Not a lot appeals to the plant-forward diner, vegetarian and vegan are accommodated only when asked. On the plus side, there is dedication to an all-natural wine list and the venue has what we can only describe as ‘sex appeal’.
For food choice commitment, there’s not much to recommend, yet it seems a shame to miss out on this cool dining experience. Choose a meat-loving friend or date to indulge, and turn up expecting to wait (reservations aren’t a possibility).
