This bright and airy cafe along Regent’s Canal in Paddington is part of the Daisy Green Collection, which have 9 eateries across London. The nice thing is, it really doesn’t feel like a chain, but instead, more of a neighbourhood cafe. With high ceilings, huge windows overlooking the canal and super friendly staff, it really is a lovely, vibey place for long, leisurely weekend brunches. Mid-week, it’s a great spot for getting some work done while sipping on an Aussie blend and while it’s next to lots of corporate offices, it doesn’t have that business-y feel to it. It gets busy at the weekends so booking ahead is best. It there are just two of you, you may get away with walking in and perching up at a window seat.
If you want sunshine vibes (even in grey London!) and a hearty, generous brunch with bottomless booze, go for it! The charcoal sourdough isn’t just an instagrammable novelty, topped with avocado, labne, dukkah and cucumber ribbons, it’s delicious too! The banana bread french toast is insanely good (share between two as it’s huge) and their homemade chilli pesto is a must-try, we ask for it on the side with every dish!
