We might have found the perfect date location to impress your meat-free other! Cub is a collaboration between award winning Ryan Chetiyawardana, aka Mr Lyan and Doug McMaster owner of the worlds first zero waste restaurant, Silo, Brighton. It is an intriguing concept as this small restaurant, although not vegetarian, and does not serve much meat because they don't feel it's very sustainable in the current industry climate.

The mind-blowingly creative food offer by the talented team behind Cub is a good evidence of how sustainable living doesn't have to be about sacrifice, and luxury doesn't have to be about waste. From how they challenge the food systems, to pushing their own creative boundaries by mainly focusing on least in demand vegetables of the season and even the materials used in the kitchen and the restaurant, Cub is exploring a new form of sustainability. And, we will certainly be very interested in following Cub's every single move with great interest!
