No need to keep your fingers crossed for good food here, the menu is a delight. Ricotta, tomato and basil eggs on focaccia for earlier on in the day make for a wonderful brunch. Later on, courgette, tomato and parmesan risotto, Tuscan style vegetable soup and potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms are all exquisite. Since they change their menu regularly to serve the best and freshest ingredients, you may be surprised each time you visit. You never know when you’ll come across your favourite recipe again!
This is a cosy neighbourhood cafe. Pretty good for hangovers and cold winter days because whatever is written on the chalkboard makes you feel like you are at home. It’s quite small so maybe not worth the trip from across town.
