Seasonal ingredients, delivered with style. Legs offers a compact, daily-changing menu with the contemporary ‘small plates to share’ approach. Bold combinations of flavours bely what might look like a very simple plate. We grew up in the tomato heaven on earth but still the dish of tomatoes, strawberries, basil and an exquisite balsamic vinegar absolutely blew us away. Other things that sold us: an informal space but with a quality that impresses, and the focus on independent wine producers.
Well, here’s the spoiler… Despite a wonderful first taste of Legs, our second visit for brunch was met with utter inflexibility to accommodate dietary choices. Sadly, we can’t recommend. We still encourage meat-eating lunch and dinner diners. But for veggies or vegans, until the kitchen introduces more optionality, this isn’t a must-go.
