Sister restaurant to the celebrated Artusi in Peckham, Marcella is a homely Italian in the somewhat unlikely, yet burgeoning foodie-destination of Deptford. While not all of the menu at Marcella is plant-based, they can easily (and happily!) accommodate vegan and gluten-free eaters when asked. The menu changes daily, adapting to utilise the best of seasonal produce. They don't take bookings - something we're used to in London now, but the basement bar is a good spot to prop up with a negroni sbagliati (prosecco instead of gin, try it!) while you wait for the main event.
