RESERVATION:RSVN:WALK IN, QUEUE FOR TABLE
A popular brunch spot in the heart of ever desirable Balham. Pros: It’s unassuming and relaxed decor, very friendly staff and excellent brunch classics. Cons: A very loooong weekend queue. But what makes this place so popular and also worthy of being featured on our map are the vegan options featured on their menu. The day we visited Milk, the drinks special was a clementine & clementine leaf kombucha. Delicious. The menu also featured gluten-free cornbread served with pecan nutzilla, a nutella-like spread and a dish appropriately named ‘Green Goblin’, a braised seasonal greens on sourdough toast, roast cashew cream and green garlic chimichurri. Add a great cup of Aussie coffee and a bill comes to £20. We say it’s good value for money.
