There are several pubs in London where you can get vegetarian and vegan roasts, but this place is the city's first ever 100% vegan pub.  The brains behind the operation is Club Mexican, so naturally the menu is all Mexicana. And it's actually quite good. Baja Tofish (beer-battered to fish, pickled cabbage, salsa verde, sour cream, pickled chillies) and Chorizo, Sweet Potato (soya chorizo with maple roasted sweet potato, avocado, sour cream) tacos are amongst our favourites. The atmosphere, the music and the food makes The Spread Eagle a new addition to your must-try places. The only critique we have is about the service. The waiting time is over 30 min, but hey, we visited the first weekend they opened, so we should probably cut them some slack!
