Towpath Cafe
Opening of Towpath every year marks the beginning of spring for Londoners. A tiny cafe on the side of the Regents canal between Dalston and Angel, remains ever popular by locals. Owned and operated by American food writer Lori de Mori, Towpath brings a tiny bit of Tuscan home-made food to London. There is nothing better than ending a short walk on the canal with a delicious food from Towpath. The breakfast menu will usually include fried eggs, coconut bircher muesli or marinda tomatoes. There is home-made cake and coffee all day long. As de Mori describes ‘there’s no barrier between us and the elements’, even if we live in a major cosmopolitan.
