At this bistro-style establishment, V stands for vino. The team’s raison d’etre is to indulge us with great wines, and we certainly won’t complain. The food menu is carefully considered and enjoyable. It feels that the dishes are paired as the supporting act to the flavours of the vine, which makes a refreshing change! Since the food isn’t the main event, the presence of plant-based options, both vegan and veggie, doesn't go unnoticed by two ever-so-slightly tipsy restaurant reviewers. We also appreciated the clear gf/df guidance on the menu. Finally, a place where you don't have to interrogate the waiter, or compromise your table manners by picking bits from the dish.
