Fitzrovia seems to be undergoing a revolution with a number of new-wave restaurants joining some old-time favourites. We featured some of these vegetarian restaurants recently on our reviews so thought we should sum up the best veggie options in the area.
Ottolenghi’s new restaurant where vegetables are again the star of the show. 100% satisfaction guaranteed. It’s a setting that somehow works for every occasion, whether it is for business lunch or a romantic dinner, breakfast or dinner. Rovi offers Middle Eastern style goodness with a welcoming casualness yet in a subtle fine-dining way. Our favorite dishes feature dairy products (mainly yoghurt) but plenty of vegan options available as well.
For the Cypriot loaf and Black Sea fondue. We applaud the young and talented, Selin Kiazim, for taking her traditional cuisine to another level. But sadly, for our vegan friends, there is not much on offer at Kyseri. We hope a vegan version of that ‘manti’ will soon be on the menu.
For their vegan burger that made it on our Best Vegan Burgers in town list. An unassuming vegetarian cafe with a strong vegan offering from father/son duo (hence the name). Kin is serious about coffee too!
For good mood Peruvian food and cocktails. And, for ditching plastic. Ceviche's menu typically features a vegan ceviche and a few starters. With 80 different microclimates, Peru has a rich variety of homegrown ingredients - so, a perfect balance of healthy and indulgent.
For the smoked aubergine dish which also is the only veggie option on Bao's menu. For the sake of the hype.
